  • Mt. Washington, elevation 6288 ft, 2 day traverse (gain 4200 ft.).
    The hike is
strenuous 2 day 21 mile journey starting at Rt 2 in Randolph and ending on Rt 302 in Crawford Notch. We will cover 11 miles on the first day and 10 miles on the second, after we spend the night at the Lake of the Clouds hut. Good footwear is a must as it is a continuously rocky trail and slippery lichen covered rocks closer to the cone can be treacherous. Mt. Washington is home to some of the world’s worst weather with record winds recorded at 237 mph! The weather can change in an instant and it is important to be fully prepared for snow even in July. Experienced distance hikers only.
Hike time is approximately 8 hours per day. Trip distance is 21 miles.
Cost: $195.00 includes transportation, meals, snacks, hut fee and leaders.

  • Wildcats 'D' and 'A', elevation 4050 ft. and 4422 ft., respectively (gain 2422 ft.).
Wildcat 'D' is just above the top of the ski area where there is a tower. The Wildcat Trail is a strenuous steep climb up 1.9 miles, with some fine ledge views, over to summit ‘E’ then 3/10ths of a mile up to the official 4000 footer ‘D’. The trail continues up and down cols over ‘C’, ‘B’ and finally to ‘A’ peak, another legal 4000 footer, at 4.2 miles. There is an awesome lookout just beyond & to the right of ‘A’. Return the same way for a total distance of 8.4 miles for all 5 peaks or only 4.4 miles for 'D' peak. Time for 'D' is 4 hours, all five is about 7 hours. Weather and group will decide traverse or not.
Cost: $70.00 includes transportation from WOA, lunch, snacks, and leaders.

  • Mt. Willey, elevation 4285 ft. (gain 2591 ft.), is named after the Willey family who were killed by a landslide in 1826.
It is located in Crawford Notch and has a strenuous, short hike to the summit. There are nine sets of stairs that have recently been built to make the climb easier. The Appalachian Trail off route 302 leads to the Willey Range Trail.
Hike time is approximately 5.5 hours. Round trip distance is 5.4 miles.
Cost: $65.00 includes transportation from WOA, lunch, snacks, and leaders.
